Cuts of corrugated metal sheets -known locally as calaminas- make up, through braiding, both a flag and a mat. Inspired by the devastation caused by the Niño costero Phenomenon of 2017, this piece invites us to reflect on how a fractional society responds to emergencies in times of crisis.
